On August 27, 2024, the MOHAN Foundation was invited to lead a sensitization session on organ and tissue donation for members of the ‘NGO Forum’ during their monthly executive meeting. This event took place at Die Ache Hall, Mure Memorial Hospital Campus, Maharajbagh Road, Sitabuldi, Nagpur.
The meeting's agenda centered on "Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness" and included discussions on various social issues, with a focus on sharing and learning experiences. Mr. Mozes Gaur delivered the introductory remarks, emphasizing the importance of promoting organ and body donation campaigns within churches and institutions. He encouraged collaboration among various NGOs to enhance organ and corneal donation rates.
Ms. Veena Wathore, Project Manager at MOHAN Foundation-Nagpur, conducted an interactive session on organ and tissue donation. Her presentation, presentation, addressed audience queries and provided comprehensive information on the subject.
Mr. Bulu Behera assisted by distributing pledge forms and informational brochures about organ and tissue donation. The session was attended by approximately 40 heads of various NGOs, and five of them committed to donating their organs and tissues.
