Organ Donation talk conducted during a marriage anniversary at Nagpur

  Mr. Sunil Chokare - President of Vidharva Association, Nagpur, on his marriage anniversary invited Mr. Bulu to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation. Around 30 people attended this talk. This talk was conducted on July 20^th 2022.

  Mr. Bulu began the session with an introduction about MOHAN Foundation. This was followed by an elaborate talk on the concepts of organ donation with explanation on who, what and why organ donation is needed, importance of donor card and how to pledge our organs was discussed in detail.

  Certain questions raised by the visitors were as follows:

  1)      What is the cost of kidney transplant?

  2)      What is the age limit for eye donation?

  3)      What is the process of body donation?

   

  All the queries were answered promptly and clearly with examples. The audience who attended the session were association members and other visitors. They were highly motivated towards the cause and extended their support by pledging their organs, 5 of them pledged their organs and took their donor cards.
