Organ Donation awareness through a Walkathon in Udaipur

  • Streets of Udaipur echoed with chanting of “Ek Khamoshi anek Muskan Aao Krein Angdaan” and “Angdaan Jeevan Daan” when more than 300 people from Bohra community walked on Sunday 15th April 2018 at 6 AM.

     

    The third consecutive walkathon was organized by Bohra Youth Medical Relief Society in collaboration with MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team.

     

    The walkathon was supported by Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital, Advaiya and ProTalent.

     

    The walkathon started from Aravali Vatika, opp The Study, Fatehsagar road (300 meters ahead of HZL Head Office) and finished after going through Fatehsagar, MotiMagri, Bambaiya Bazaar.

     

    Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey and Mr. Roshan Bahadur represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team.

     

    At the end point (Fatahsagar Pal) Mr. Anees Miyaji addressed the participants and other people to join hands with MOHAN Foundation to save others life through deceased organ donation.

     

    Dr. Sanjeev Tank, CMHO (Udaipur), Dr. Vishwas Baheti (Urologist Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital), Mr. Jitendra Singh Rathore, President (Lake City Kidney care and relief foundation also addressed the participants and thanked the MFJCF- Navjeevan Team.

     

    Unique initiative (Donor Memorial Calendar) was presented to Dr. Sanjeev Tank from Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey which was highly appreciated by him.

    After the vote of thanks given by Pavan Kumar Dubey, all the people took the donor card to pledge their organs after death and posed with the organ donation message board “I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION
