On 10th October 2019, MOHAN Foundation set up an information desk at the Western Coalfield Limited office in Wani, Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, to disseminate information about organ donation for its employees. Dr. Anirudha Chakarbarti, the Area Medical Officer and Deputy CMO had extended the invitation. The stall that was set up had information brochures, donor cards, standees and banners.
Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur managed the stall. The following information was given to WCL office workers:
Around 30 office workers visited the stall. After understanding about organ donation, 10 people took consent forms, signed them and received donor cards.
