Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation was requested by Mr. Ankush Ghode, the head of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of Surve Nagar to organize an awareness session on organ donation for the residents of the locality. The event was organized on 4th October 2021 at the Surve Nagar park.
Mr. Bulu Behera began the session by introducing MOHAN Foundation, its mission and vision, and proceeded to explain the following:
Mr. Behera also gave information about body donation and hand transplant. 20 people were present and 4 of them pledged to donate organs, signed consent forms, and took donor cards.
