Organ Donation Awareness for Staff of GST Customs Department of Rajasthan

On 7th February 2020, MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum organized an awareness programme on organ donation for the GST Customs Department of Rajasthan, in association with Times of India in Jaipur. Around 120 participants were present on the occasion.

A presentation on organ donation and brain death was made by Dr. Manish Sharma who explained the following points:
- Organ donation types and who can be a donor
- Myths with corresponding facts related to Organ Donation
- Difference between natural death and brain death
- Importance of the Donor card
- How SOTTO works and helps in Organ Donation
- Real life stories of an organ transplant recipient
It was an interactive session. The entire group was motivated to support organ donation.
