Mr. Pramod Mishra, the head of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of Ram Nagar Park area, requested Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation to organize an awareness session on organ donation for his fellow RSS members. The event was organized on 7th October 2021 at the Ram Nagar Park.
Mr. Bulu Behera began the session by introducing MOHAN Foundation, its mission and vision, and proceeded to explain the following:
Mr. Behera also gave information about body donation and hand transplant. 32 RSS members were present and 14 of them pledged to donate organs, signed consent forms, and took donor cards.
