Mr. Ln Paraneetharan J, Lion Club Region Chairpersonand an active supporter of organ donation, celebrated his wedding anniversary in a unique manner. He organized a Lion Club Regional Meet and commemoration of their wedding anniversary at Anna Tower Club on February 21, 2024 titled INBA (Indra Barani). MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to create an awareness on Organ Donation and Transplantation through an information desk.
Mr Ganesh C, represented MOHAN Foundation and set up an information desk at a prime spot in the event with the support of Mr. Ln Paraneetharan. He then distributed green ribbonss and information brochures to all the invitee. Few people approached the information desk and cleared their doubts.
During the event all the Lions Clubs under Region 7, paraded displaying their individual flags and further proceeding and upcoming programs were discussed. Ln Jeyakhumar VG, District Chairperson – Driver’s Day was presented with “Lifetime Achievement Award” and his life path and achievements were showcased. The event concluded with the cake cutting and commemoration of the wedding anniversary of Dr Indra Paraneetharan and Ln Paraneetharan couple. All the participants were presented with goodies and plant saplings. Over 150 participated and 9 pledged as Organ Donors.
