On the 3rd day of the week-long celebration MOHAN Foundation set up a stall to create awareness on organ donation on 26th May 2018. This was for the devotees that were visiting the temple for the celebrations of the 100th year of attainment of Samadhi by Shri. Sai Baba (1918-2018).
The Organizing Committee had given a special booth to display several posters, banners and standees on the subject along with donor cards & brochures. Special pamphlets were printed for pledging organ donation. Bulu Behera along with Kanchan Shewde r managed the stall.
They gave information importance of organ donation & brain death, difference between coma and brain death. They also explained the Law on organ donation, what is illegal and the punishment for such acts. They gave information on the process of Eye donation & Body donation. Approximately 25 people visited and 4 of them signed the consent form and took donor cards.
