On 6th May 2014, to mark their 21st anniversary of Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK)
organized an Blood and Organ Donation Awareness camp at their head office at Egmore. Mr. Nallu Ligam, member of IT department, MDMK took the initiative to organize the programme. Ms. Kavitha S, Marketing Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai conducted the gathering.
The function started with a welcome address. Following that Ms. Kavitha spoke on the following topics:
Nearly 150 people came forward to register themselves as organ donor. Following that Organ Donation toll free sticker was stuck on the cars of the members of the MDMK.
