On June 16, 2024, MOHAN Foundation conducted an enlightening organ donation awareness program for RSS members at the serene Parsik Hill Garden in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Spearheaded by Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi, the session was meticulously organized by Mr. Anil Mourya, ensuring a profound impact on all attendees.
Ms. Prarthana captivated the audience from the outset with a dynamic PowerPoint presentation introducing MOHAN Foundation's mission and activities. She navigated through crucial topics such as the essence of organ donation, the intricate process of transplantation, and dispelling prevalent myths surrounding this life-saving practice. A poignant video on brain stem death underscored the critical understanding needed for informed decisions.
The interactive session saw active participation from 35 enthusiastic members, who engaged deeply with the material presented. Their appreciation was palpable as they gained insights into how each person can contribute to alleviating the significant gap between organ demand and availability.
