On December 12, 2025 - The organ donation awareness session held at the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Madgul, was a tremendous success, highlighting the dedication of the school community. Despite several challenges, including transportation issues and the school's tight academic schedule, the team graciously accommodated the session during the students' leisure time.
The impactful and engaging PPT based session, led by Project Manager Mr. Venkatesh Kattela, successfully reached 156 students and faculty members from Grades 8 to 10. The enthusiastic support from the Principal and teachers was truly appreciated and greatly contributed to the positive outcome of the session.
The session provided a thorough understanding of the cause by covering all critical aspects of organ donation:
The students' intellectual curiosity added great value, as they posed insightful questions that enriched the discussion, including queries about: Organ donation during a coma and the possibility of donating the brain. These questions allowed for detailed clarification on the medical and ethical parameters of donation.
We are pleased to share that the session successfully motivated many participants, with numerous students and faculty members already pledging their support to donate their organs.
Notably, twenty-three participants demonstrated their commitment by showing their pre-existing donor cards, providing a tangible, inspiring example to the audience. This event demonstrates the capacity of ZPHS Madgul to prioritize humanitarian education, even within a demanding schedule, fostering a culture of generosity among its community members.
