On December 13, 2025, - The organ donation awareness session held at the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Chinthula, was a tremendous success, achieved through dedication and support. Despite significant challenges, including transportation issues and many teachers being away on election duty, the Principal and PT Sir graciously granted permission and provided full support for the session.
The program, led by Project Manager Mr. Venkatesh Kattela, involved an engaging PPT-based session that successfully reached 106 students and faculty members from Grades 6 to 10.
The session provided attendees with a thorough and clear understanding of the life-saving cause by covering all critical aspects of organ donation:
The students' insightful questions significantly enriched the discussion, particularly their queries on: the difference between coma and brain death. This specific question allowed for a detailed and crucial clarification, a cornerstone of organ donation awareness.
We are pleased to share that the session motivated several participants to pledge their support for the cause. Notably, two participants demonstrated their commitment by showing their pre-existing donor cards, providing a tangible, inspiring example to the audience. Furthermore, the Principal offered encouraging words, appreciating the vital activities undertaken by the MOHAN Foundation.
This event underscores the importance of resilient outreach efforts and the enthusiastic welcome received from school communities, even amidst challenging operational circumstances.
