On 15th September 2018, MOHAN Foundation Mumbai was invited by Transplants – Help the Poor Foundation for conducting an awareness talk at Cypress Society Mulund.
The awareness session was part of the society’s Ganeshotsav celebrations, following which children of the society were to perform cultural dances.
Mrs. Jaya Jairam was invited by the secretary and the Chairman of the society. She started off by introducing MOHAN Foundation and its activities. She went on to explain to them what organ donation was, who and how one can donate and why it is the need of the hour. She also briefly shared the reasons why organ donation is not a very comfortable concept in India and thereafter, touched upon the myths and facts.
We are grateful to Transplants – Help the Poor Foundation as well as members of Cypress Society for inviting us and supporting the cause.
