Vamsee Weds Vaishnavi on 30-11-2011 at the Convention hall in Hotel Marriot, Hyderabad, read the invitation. But Vamsee’s family had a unique request on the occasion. They wanted MOHAN Foundation to have a stall at the venue to create awareness about organ donation to the guests coming for the marriage. And the response from the guests was very good. Each of the visitors picked up the information leaflet on organ donation, Donor card and calendar 2012.This is the first time in Hyderabad that we have been asked to create awareness about organ donation on the auspicious occasion of a wedding. Previously we had been asked to do the same at a wedding reception. The concept of organ donation is new to the public, but they are welcoming it wholeheartedly.
