  On 7^th March 2022, MOHAN Foundation organized online awareness talk on organ donation for Employees of Shanil Technologies Pvt Ltd., Mumbai and around 30 attended the session.

   

  At the beginning of the session Mr. Sahil, Moderator welcomed Dr. Priyanka Tiku and she thank Shanil Technologies Pvt Ltd, for the giving the platform to present.

   

  Dr. Priyanka Tiku began the session by explaining the full form of MOHAN. She informed all participants that MOHAN is acronym not name. She explained about what is donation and transplantation with cardinal concepts with the help of power point presentation. The topics which she covered in detail are as follow:

  • Organs that can be donated during life and after death
  • The transplant waiting list in India
  • Brain death

  The entire employees group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation.  They got motivated so that they asked for online pledge procedure, many of them registered while attending the session.  The awareness talk ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Priyanka Tiku. She encouraged the employees to aware the society about organ donation and also how transplant can change lives are extremely powerful. She ended up saying donate organs is a generous and a worthwhile decision that can save lives.
