  On 12^th March 2022, Mrs. Bhavna Jagwani was invited to Udaipur conduct a session on Organ Donation at AMUCON. Association for Medical Updates (AMU), is a platform of all Medical colleges, hospital and laboratories, health care providers  for spreading awareness regarding standardize medical education,  quality health care practices advancement in health care delivery system. AMUCON is an annual event conducted to share the best practice of quality hospital and laboratories, health care institutions which will come together on a national platform to share their successes and best practice.

   

  The session on Organ Donation was attended by around 100 participants and Mrs. Bhavna Jagwani gave a video presentation on the following topics:

  • What is organ donation and what are the types of donations?
  • Who can be a donor?
  • What organs can be donated after natural and brain death
  • Myths around organ donation
  • Real life stories of an organ donors of Rajasthan
  • Importance of donor card

  The National Organ Donation Helpline number, 1800 103 7100 was shared with the participants. MFJCF is thankful to Dr. Prateem Tamboli for inviting us to the AMUCON.
