


Prominent women from different sectors were invited by Mr. Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner, Hyderabad on 27th March, 2018. Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, who was invited for the meeting, met with Mr. Fleming and shared with him the work being done in the area of organ donation by MOHAN Foundation.
Mrs. Raghuram mentioned about the Memorandum of Understanding that MOHAN Foundation has with the National Health Services Blood & Transplant (NHSBT) on knowledge sharing between the two nations. She submitted a copy of the MoU and also the report for two years since signing. Mr. Fleming was very appreciative of the work and promised all possible support from his office.
Mrs. Raghuram gifted a necklace and bracelet with a green ribbon to Mrs. Fleming, who put it on herself immediately. She appreciated and liked the jewellery very much.
About 40 women representatives from various sectors interacted, shared knowledge and discussed what they intend doing in the next 2-3 years for women empowerment.
