MOHAN Foundation was awarded the Grant Thornton (Bharat) SABERA (Social and Business Enterprise Responsible Awards) in the “Most Innovative Development Sector Project” in the under 5 crore category. The same was announced during the online award event held on December 10, 2020.
The award acknowledged the innovative ways in which the Foundation has used technology in the area of organ donation – such as its brain death declaration and maintenance apps for medical professionals, the web-based registries that the Foundation has created for some state governments, its 24 X 7 National helpline, the donor registry, online training courses for medical and paramedical professionals, etc.
Grant Thornton (Bharat) SABERA awards were instituted by the Simply Suparnaa Media Network in the year 2018 with a view to recognise the exceptional work done in India in the development sector. The event focuses on contribution towards Sustainable Development Goals by Individuals, Corporations in private and public sector domains, Foundations, Non-Government Organizations, Trusts, Societies, Nonprofits, Social enterprises, and more.
