On 13th October, 2014 a sensitization session on organ donation was organized for the students od Hislop College. Dr. Ravi Wankhede conducted the session. Program was organized by Dr.Deepa Jamwal; she is the in-charge of Rotract. The session was conducted with the help of a PowerPoint presentation. The slides covered the topics explaining organ donation in detail including the types of donation, conditions in which organs can be donated etc.
The phenomenon of brain stem death was explained in detail with the help of a short video. The talk was interactive to Hislop College students seemed to have some former information about organ donation according to the pre-awareness survey that was taken.
He also touched on the role of a transplant coordinator and his/her importance in the hospital setting,
MOHAN Foundation activities like training programs, online donor registry and helpline etc.

1) How much time Organ can be preserved?
2) Can Diabetes patients donate Organ?
3) What is the process of skin donation?
At the end of the discussion 65 students signed the pledge form out of 100 who attended the session.
