On February 1, 2024, MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur conducted an awareness session on Organ Donation at Govt. Nursing college, Yavatmal. The session was conducted by Veena Wathore, Project Manager from MOHAN Foundation.The Nursing students & staff attended the session.
Yavatmal cityis situated 154 KM away from Nagpur .Dr. Vivek Gujar, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Anita Rathod, Principal Dr. Ranjana Bansod, HOD Medicine dept. of Shri Vasantro Naik Govt. Medical College Hospital,Yavatmal welcomed Veena with floral bouquet.
Metron Vanmala Raut coordinated the session.Veena explained the importance of Organ donation through her PPT presentation. She alsoexplained the concept of brain dead. Total 65 students and staff attended the session. MOHAN Foundation’s online training programs link was shared & Pledge forms pamphlets were distributed.
