MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Powar, RTO officer, Nagpur branch to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for drivers who apply for vehicle registration and driving license on 15 December, 2015.
Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinators delivered a talk on Organ donation and explained the following points
It was a very interactive session. Of the 25 drivers present during the talk, 5 took consent form. They will discuss with their family and signed consent form.
Some queries discussed after the talk:-
1) What is guaranty that the organ will not be sold?
2) Are there any benefits for donor family?
3) What is the time taken for organ donation and transplant?
