On January 24, 2024, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Ankur Vidya Mandir on their 57th Annual day function at Samaj Bhavan located at ordinance factory premises. Mrs. B Sujatha requested to set up an information desk on Organ donation, Eye donation and Body donation. Chief guest for programme was Mr. Rajiv Puri, Chairman and Managing Director, Yantra India Limited. Mr. Gurudutt Ray, Director (Human Resource), Mrs. Maheshwari,Principal of Ankur Vidya Mandir graced the occasion. Ms. Bhagyashree along with Ms. Veena distributed the information brochure & explained the concept of Organ & Tissue donation to visiting parents.The Theme of Annual Day function was ‘अंगदान, जरूरतमंद के लिए वरदान’, to aware the parentsabout the importance of Organ & Body donation. A beautiful Rangoli decoration with thetheme message was drawn near the stage. The students of UKG performed a skit on“Importance of organ donation” very actively with the role of doctors, Parents, counsellors& a donor. The little students acted as the ‘Organs’ like Heart, Liver, Kidneys, Lungs & eyes,saying, ‘हमें मत मारो, हमें मत मारो, हम जीना चाहते है’ with the message to donate Organs & save the lives. This impactful performance stunned the audience. The skit was followed by informational speech on Organ donation by Dr. Manisha Rathi.Total 15 guest took the pledge for organ donation. More than 300 parents, teaching staff attended this program.
