  On 4^th November 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited to set up an information desk on organ donation as a part of their science exhibition. This initiative followed an awareness talk conducted by MOHAN Foundation in November 2022. Students, who had been previously informed during the awareness session, were tasked with providing information on organ donation to exhibition visitors under the guidance of MOHAN Foundation. The students were from class 8th,9^th, and 10^th  

  Ms. Srividya.S represented MOHAN Foundation. The following were discussed in detail for the stall visitors:

  • Organ donation and its need in the society
  • When and how does organ donation take place
  • Organs that can be donated during life and after death
  • Transplant waiting list in India
  • Role of MOHAN Foundation
  • Eye donation

  Some of the common queries of the visitors were

  • Organ allocation system in Telangana
  • Green corridor
  • Procedure for hand transplantation
  • Procedure for organ pledging
