On 6th August, 2013 health care personnel from CARE Hospital, Nampally came forward to pledge their organs to mark Organ Donation day and extended their support for the cause of organ donation. About 120 medical and para-medical professionals pledged their organs by taking the donor card. Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director, MOHAN Foundation spoke about the importance of organ donation. Mrs. Annapurna, Liver Transplant Recipient, shared her story and about the quality of life after transplantation. Ms. Hemalatha, Program Manager, MOHAN Foundation, Hyderabad delivered a small the talk on organ donation. All the queries that were raised were answered.
