An eye donation awareness stall was conducted on January 24, 2026, at S.T. Kadam High School, Palghar, with the objective of educating parents, staff members, and visitors about the importance of eye donation and encouraging them to support this noble cause.
The stall was led by Mr. Nikhil, who provided detailed information on the concept and significance of eye donation, including the process involved, eligibility criteria, and the necessary steps to be followed at the time of donation. He also addressed common myths and misconceptions related to eye donation, offering clear and factual explanations to enhance understanding among the visitors.
Approximately 150 individuals, including parents and staff members, visited the stall and actively engaged in discussions. As an outcome, 11 participants came forward to pledge for eye donation. The stall proved to be informative and impactful, successfully raising awareness and motivating individuals to contribute to this meaningful cause.
