As part of Organ Donor Week activity, an awareness talk on organ donation was organized at Sri Venkateshwara College of Fine Arts by MOHAN Foundation, Hyderabad on August 8th, 2012 by 12.00 pm. The Concept of organ donation and brain death was explained to the audience by Ms. Hemalatha, Program Manager, MOHAN Foundation. Around 125 Students participated and pledged for “Organ Donation” by taking donor card; the group was very enthusiastic and interactive. The audience strongly believed and expressed that myths cannot stop one in donating organs, its purely one’s will.
