On 19th July 2025, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on Organ Donation for the teachers of Govt. Model Senior Secondary School (MHC) Manimajra, Chandigarh The talk was coordinated by Mr.Varinder Singh Program Incharge. The principal Mrs. Monika Puri was very welcoming of the idea to create awareness on organ donation for the Students from 10TH Grade to 12th Grade and included the session for Teachers also.
Teachers were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma
In this talk she explained the following points: -
It was an interactive session and engaging session. The Participants showed a deep interest in the cause of organ donation and would love to share their wish with their families and also respect for the body after death. Participants also appreciated the communication of such a complex subject in the easiest way possible.
25 teachers attended the session and all of them signed for Organ Donation.
