On February 19, 2026, MOHAN Foundation organized an awareness program on organ donation at Agartala Government Medical College & Govinda Ballabh Pant (AGMC & GBP) Hospital, Kunjaban, Agartala, West Tripura. The session was conducted at the Urology Outpatient Department (OPD) as part of its continuous efforts to promote awareness of organ donation and transplantation among the people.
Mr. Vincent Debbarma (Project Lead, Tripura) and Ms. Nipa Modak (Program Executive) represented MOHAN Foundation.
The program began with an introduction to the MOHAN Foundation, including leaflet distribution on organ donation topics. Ms. Nipa Modak covered the significance of organ donation, types of donors (living and deceased), and the potential of one donor to save multiple lives through organs like the heart, liver, kidneys, pancreas, Intestine and lungs.
About 11 participants joined, enabling focused interaction in the Urology OPD setting at AGMC & GBP Hospital.
