On December 6, 2012 an awareness talk on organ donation was conducted by MOHAN Foundation (MF) Delhi for the employees of NTT DATA Global Delivery Services Ltd at their Gurgaon office, as part of their Global Volunteer Week Initiative. Two sessions were scheduled according to the work timings of the employees, so that most of them can be addressed on the same day.
The first session was attended by 50 employees from different departments. It covered key issues like need for organ donation, current statistics on end stage organ failure, organ donation rate, brain death, legal aspects of organ donation, and myths around organ donation.
The second session was attended by 55 employees from the BPO division. At the end of each session important helpline numbers for eye donation, organ donation and whole body donation were also shared. 53 donor cards and 50 flyers were distributed.
