Awareness Stall at TVH Head Office
MOHAN Foundation joined hands with Dhanvantari Blood Bank to set up a stall at the TVH Head office in Chennai on 27th February 2013. Mr. Rajakumar and Mrs. Sunita from the Dhanvantari Blood bank and Ms. Anita and Ms. Ramani from TVH HR Division organized the blood donation and awareness stall on Organ Donation. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde of Mohan Foundation set up the stall and explained about the Concepts of Brain Death and Organ Donation to the staff.
Topics covered in the presentations were:
Queries on bone marrow transplantations, brain stem and brain death, whole body donation, organ allocation and waitlists were answered. 22 staff members of TVH office took a pledge to donate organs by picking up the Donor Cards.
