  Newly wedding couple took pledged at the session

  On 1^st December 2020, MOHAN Foundation in association with Transplants – Help The Poor Foundation conducted an Online Awareness Session on Organ Donation along with Mrs Anjana Dwivedi. She arranged session for Panchayat meeting at first on the occasion of Barsi program of her husband.

  Ms Prarthana Dwivedi addressed the gathering and gave a brief introduction on MOHAN

  Foundation to all the participants also she explained the following points:

   

  ·         Organ donation types & who can be a donor

  ·         Living Donation and Deceased Donation

  ·         Difference between Natural death/Cardiac death and Brain death

  ·         Importance of Organ & Tissue Donation

  ·         Real life stories of an organ transplant recipient

  ·         Myths & facts related to Organ Donation

  ·         Importance of the Donor Card

  ·         Helpline number of MOHAN Foundation

   

  It was an interactive session. The gathering belonged to rural area had never heard about this types of donation happened. Around 25 Panchayat members attended the program. We would like to thank Mr Manoj Dubey for inviting us and supporting this noble cause.
