
On November 13, 2025, MOHAN Foundation, Tripura, conducted an awareness program on organ donation at ANMR Training Institute, Palace Compound, Agartala, West Tripura. The session aimed to educate students on the importance of organ donation, dispel myths and misconceptions, and motivate them to pledge their organs to help save lives.
MOHAN Foundation was represented by Ms. Nipa Modak, Program Executive.
The program began at 11:30 AM with a welcome address by the principal. Following this, Ms. Nipa Modak introduced the work and mission of MOHAN Foundation, highlighting the organization’s nationwide initiatives, including awareness campaigns, community outreach, training for healthcare professionals, and the promotion of organ donation pledges through donor cards and online registries.
Informational leaflets were distributed to reinforce key messages and inspire students to support the cause. An interactive Q&A session allowed participants to clarify doubts and develop a clearer understanding of the organ donation process.
A total of 57 students attended the program. The event effectively underscored the significance of awareness, informed decision-making, and individual responsibility in strengthening the organ donation movement and saving lives.
