Updated on Saturday, June 30, 2018
  • On 29.06.2018, a team of 11 volunteers from Angels of Change of Chevalier T Thomas Elizabeth (CTTE) College for Women conducted a campaign program in their college. The program had attendance of 600 students from their college. The girls engaged the crowd with the information about organ donation. Mr. T. S. Siva Shankar, helpline executive and Ms. Sharmila Palin Intern at MOHAN Foundation went there as observers.

The program schedule was perfect, each of them were doing their work accordingly. And each of them got their chance to explain about organ donation. They also explained about the MOHAN Foundation’s works and the donor registration process in the website. They involved the participant’s interest with a game on organ donation concept. The enthusiasm was so good that even the power failure didn’t spoil the schedule.

The Angels work was appreciated by the students and resulted in half of the crowd ready to pledge for organ donation in the end. A girl came forward to give the feedback, who said “this program gave us the knowledge about organ donation which we didn’t know and it was helpful for us to take the knowledge on organ donation to our family”.

The success of this program is the success of the Angels of Change volunteer training program, more are yet to come.
