An interactive session organized by MOHAN Foundation for NCC batch II cadets Jalahalli East ETI Bengaluru on 09th September 2022

  • Mr. Marulappa conducted a meeting with the NCC officer Mr. Srinivasan and organized an awareness session for the NCC batch 2 cadets during combined annual training camp at ETI Airforce Station, Jalahalli East bengaluru on 09th September 2022 at 12:30pm – 02pm.

    MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mr. Marulappa and Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS. around 525 members attended the session.

    Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS initiated the session and by introducing MOHAN foundation kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following concepts were discussed in detail:

    • Importance and need for donation,
    • Eligibility for Organ Donation
    • Concepts of brain stem death and circulatory death
    • Common myths that prevalent in the society
    • Jeevasarthakathe and  its functions
    • The importance of a donor card.

    The audience were very interactive and posed several questions. To name a few

    Discussion with the audience:

    • Time duration for organ transplantation.
    • Can communicable diseases be considered for organ donation?

    All the 525 NCC cadets supported the cause by appreciating the noble cause for Organ Donation.
