Dr. Kumar U, HOD - Department of Forensic Medicine from Akash Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre in Devanahalli, Bengaluru invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct an interactive session on organ donation for the students and staff of the college. MOHAN Foundation team organized the awareness event on 12th November, 2025.
MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mrs. Ranjini Shankar M S, Project Manager and Mr. Nagendra Kumar R the Transplant Coordinator.
Mrs. Ranjini opened the session by introducing MOHAN Foundation and sharing its mission and vision. She went on to deliver a comprehensive talk covering a wide range of topics, including:
The concept of organ and tissue donation
The session was well-received by all participants. A total of 350 individuals attended the program, all of them pledged to become organ donors by signing up at the end of the session.
