MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Sharath, Manager ITC (Indian Tobacco Company), Bhadrachalam to make a presentation on Organ donation to the employees on 20th January 2017.
Mr.Prabodh kumar patra, Managing Director, ITC and Dr.George Oomen and Dr.Valsala A. George of ITC Health center along with 200 employees attended the session.
Concept of Organ donation, Brain death, legal aspects and different types of organ donation and Transplantation were explained and information brochures along with donor cards were distributed.
Many of the employees pledged for organ donation and some of them took donor cards for their family members also.
