On 6th January 2018 MOHAN Foundation set an Information Desk at Indian Medical Association (IMA) meeting in Hotel Raj Palace Sundar, Chennai. Mr. Raja, Transplant Coordinator represented MOHAN Foundation. Doctors with different specialities attended the function.
This meeting was for installation of Dr. Lakshmi Nagarajan as new President of IMA. The office bearers at the meeting were Dr. Vaibhav- IMA Chennai Secretary, Dr. Chandra Sekara Rao- Finance Secretary, Dr. Maragathamani- Chairperson, State Women Doctor’s Wing, Dr. Yashodha- North Zone Vice President, Dr. Muthurajan- Past State Secretary, Dr. Lakshmi Nagarajan- President and Dr. Ravindran- Past President. In her speech Dr Lakshmi mentioned the work of MOHAN Foundation and asked the members to visit the stall and support the cause of organ donation.
72 doctors attended the meeting and all of them visited the information stall and got brochures. Two staff got registered for Organ Donation and received a Donor card.
