MOHAN Foundation was approached by Mr. Venkateswara Rao, Charter President of Rotary Club of Salur that he would like to conduct an awareness program on organ donation on 9th August 2017 in Salur. The club members were given awareness material and presentations to be made.
All the club members were made aware about the need for organ donation in India, concept of brain death, laws pertaining to organ donation in India, misconceptions and myths regarding organ donation. Dr. Gnaneswara and Dr. Venkateshwar Rao presented the session to the students.
All the club members have decided to organize a program and have conducted this program at Sathya Sai Junior College in association with Vikasa Tarangini members, targeting the young students and have ignited their minds.
We thank Mr. Venkateswara Rao for his relentless support, members of Rotary Club Salur, members of Vikasa Tarangini and the management of Sathya Sai Junior College for making this event a grand success.
