MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Sharad Jighkar, Regional Transport Officer, Giripeth, Nagpur to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for drivers who apply for vehicle registration and driving license on 13 January 2017.
Mr.Bulu Behera delivered a talk on Organ Donation in the waiting area of the office. In his talk he explained the following points:-
It was a very interactive session. 30 drivers were present at the talk. 4 drivers signed consent form and took donor card.
The drivers asked the following questions:-
1) If I signed consent form and death occurs away from Nagpur then how my organ can be donated?
2) How do we contact you if we want to donate organs?
3) Can organs can be preserved?
