On 10th January 2015, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness programme at Intensive Medical Care Unit, Rajiv Gandhi Govt General Hospital Chennai. Mr. Prakash K and Mr. Jeyabal Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai conducted the programme.
Mr. Prakash K. Transplant Coordinator delivered a talk on Organ Donation and in his talk he concentrated on the following topics: Activities of MOHAN Foundation, Concepts of Organ Donation, Types of Donors, Organs that can be donated after natural and brain death, Importance of Donor Card and Transplant coordinator training programme.
In the programme 30 Student Nurses, B. Sc students & Technicians participated and all of them picked donor cards and were ready to support the cause.
