  • Organised 18th NATCO Conference, 2025 at IIHMR University, Jaipur

    The 18th Annual International Conference of NATCO was held on October 10–11 2025, at IIHMR University, Jaipur. With the purposeful theme “Reconnect, Recharge, Reignite.”, the conference brought together 175 transplant coordinators from 15 states with one shared purpose — to strengthen India’s organ donation and transplant program.

    The event provided a platform for participants to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and renew their commitment to this life-saving cause.

    Chief Guest Health Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Gajendra Singh Khimsar inaugurated the conference and the Guests of Honour added allure to the inaugural ceremonies with their esteemed presence. Shri Rajiv Arora, Smt Shubhra Singh, Shri Ambrish Kumar, Major General Rohit Mehrotra, Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Dr. Sodhani, Dr. M.L. Swarnkar, Smt Kamla Mehta, Mr. Ashok Odhrani, Mr. Anil Purohit, Mr. Dilip Deshmukh, Mr. Satish Mehta, Ms. Shreya and 7 Transplant Games Athletes added meaning and substance to the occasion. A Complete Handbook on “Registering Hospitals As Transplant Centres” was also unveiled during the conference.

    Many prominent speakers from across the country participated, with dedicated chairpersons leading each session. Over two days, the sessions featured insightful discussions on swap transplantation, the importance of harmony in state data and information flow, At the Crossroads: navigating Family conversations and Apnea testing in counselling, AI tools for improving transplant outcomes, dual organ transplant, increasing opportunities for Organ donation and a workshop on capacity building for NGOs.
