Organ Donation Awareness Achieves Resounding Success at TG Model School and Junior College, Chintapally

  • On October 15, 2025, a highly effective organ donation awareness session was successfully hosted at TG Model School and Junior College, Chintapally, Nalgonda.

    The session, led by Project Manager Mr. Venkatesh Kattela, utilized a captivating PowerPoint (PPT) presentation to inform and engage a large audience of over 250 students and faculty members. Attendees included students from Grades 9 and 10, as well as those from the Intermediate 1st and 2nd years. The program was meticulously planned to ensure minimal disruption to their demanding academic schedule.

    The comprehensive presentation focused on educating the youth—a critical demographic for the future of organ donation—by addressing:

    • The crucial and life-saving difference between brain death and circulatory death.
    • The legal framework and the process of pledging organs through a donor card.
    • The urgent demand vs. supply gap for organs in India and the importance of cadaveric donation.
    • Dispelling prevalent myths and misconceptions with factual information.

    The event concluded on a high and deeply inspiring note. A significant number of both students and faculty members enthusiastically pledged to donate their organs, demonstrating their commitment and support for this vital, life-saving cause.
