Ms. Jaya Jairam, Project Director MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr (Col.) Avnish Seth, Head - Manipal Organ Sharing and Transplant (MOST), as a faculty at the 'Organ Donation Summit' organised at Novotel, Pune on Oct 4 & 5, 2024.
She was invited to co-chair the session on 'Quality Assessment and scoring systems for organ donation in India', in which, Dr (Col) Avnish Seth presented a system called 'Seth-Huddle for organ donation (S-HOD)' - a simple scoring system for assessment of hospitals for conversion of potential brain dead donors to actual donors. The session was moderated by Ms. Pallavi Kumar, Executive Director MOHAN Foundation and Dr Maria Paula Gomez.
