On 12th September, 2013 an awareness session on organ donation and organ transplantation was organised for the students of Guru Nanak Dental College, Dilshuk Nagar, Hyderabad. MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct the session by Lions Club member Ranjan Sood.
Since, there were a huge number of students two sessions were organised. The first session had 120 students participating and the second session had around 100 students who attended the talk. Dr. Bhanu Chandra, MOHAN Foundation, Hyderabad made the presentation and spoke to the audience about organ donation, about brain death and about the prevailing myths about organ donation.
Donor cards and information brochures were distributed at the sessions. Some of the students picked up donor cards for their family members also.
