On 12th January 2015, MOHAN Foundation conducted a sensitization meeting for the core committee members of Prasanna Trust, a vision of Swami Sukhabodhananda. Shri. M.P. Subramaniam, Chairman of Hyderabad Chapter also attended the session along with other members. Prasanna Trust is a social charitable trust working with an objective to relook into various facets of Indian Philosophy and culture for effective transformation of an individual and society at large.
Dr. Koti Reddy of MOHAN Foundation spoke about importance of deceased organ donation, eye donation, T.H.O 1994 Act, concept of brain death, religion and cultural barriers, myths surrounding organ donation. There was a lengthy discussion on grief counseling and the importance of raising awareness among the public on brain death and the possibility of donating organs.
