MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Mahaveer College of Commerce, C -Scheme, Jaipur on 14 Jul 2018. Talk was held at the premises of College.
More than 200 students of 1st year attended the program and got the vital information about the organ donation.
Dr. Amla Batra, Mrs. RenuUba, Mrs. Kamla Chaudhary and Mr. Pavan Kumar represented the MFJCF team.
Dr. Ravi Sharma (Principal), Dr. Neelima Pareek (Senior Faculty Member), Dr. Vaishali Purohit (Faculty Member) and Dr. Poonam Sonawat (Faculty Member) welcomed MFJCF members and invited Dr. Amla Batra to deliver the talk.
Dr. AmlaBatra gave presentation with the help of video based on organ donation and covered following points.
1. The need of organ donation.
2. Donor stories.
3. Myths about organ donation.
Some questions were asked on the following topics and were adequately answered by MFJCF members.
1. What is difference between cardiac death and brain death?
2. How can I pledge for organ donation?
3. What is Green Corridor?
After the session all students posed for pictures with ''I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION'' message board and promised to become an ambassador of organ donation.
