On 28th May 2018, MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF) - Navjeevan team was invited by Astikalan Panchayat Office to deliver an awareness talk on organ donation for the villagers at Astikalan Panchayat, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Dr. Teena Sahwney and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF team. Mrs. Neelam Kanwar (Sarpanch) and Mr. Mohan lal Jaat (Gram Sevak) along with 25 people welcomed the MFJCF team members and invited Dr. Teena Sahwney to deliver the talk.
During the presentation the following points were covered.
1. Importance of organ donation.
2. Myths about organ donation.
3. Difference between cardiac death and brain death.
After the question answer session Mrs. Neelam Kanwar thanked MFJCF team to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation at Astikalan Panchayat.
25 villagers took the donor card and posed with the message board "I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION".
