On the occasion of 544th Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev, MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to put up an awareness stall at the Sri Grudwara Sahib campus on 28th November 2012.
It is the most important and major festival of the Sikh Community across the world. He is first Guru and founder of Sikh Religion, who spread the message of peace and communal harmony.
Nearly 2000 devotees visited the stall. All the visitors were given information brochures on Organ Donation in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Dr.Hemal, Ms.Jessi and Ms.Kavitha explained the visitors about the concepts of Organ Donation and importance of Donor Card. Around 19 people pledged for Organ Donation by picking up Donor cards.
