
On February 2, 2025 in celebration of the Haldi Kumkum program, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on organ donation at Bhagvati Bay Bliss in Ulwe, Navi Mumbai. The session began at 6:30 PM, following the Haldi Kumkum ceremony. Ms. Prarthana from MOHAN Foundation, who hosted the program, opened the session with theme-based songs, including "Aankhein Bhi Hoti Hain Dil Ki Zubaan" and "Dil Meri Na Sune, Dil Ki Main Na Sunu."
She then conducted a storytelling session about a blind person, focusing on tissue donation, which deeply engaged the audience.
Following this, Prarthana conducted a quiz contest focused on organ and tissue donation, engaging the audience with thought-provoking questions such as:
To conclude the event on a heartfelt note, the audience joined together in singing "Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai," symbolizing the spirit of giving and the essence of life. The session was informative and well-received. Approximately 72 people attended, and 04 pledged to donate their organs.
